Although each county within North Central Texas Emergency Communications District (NCT9-1-1) strives to ensure the GIS data is as accurate and as up-to-date as possible, Texas state law does not require 100% data accuracy. The NCT9-1-1 region currently maintains data accuracy in accordance with CSEC NG911 data requirements as outlined in NENA Document 71-501. Additionally, per CSEC NG911 requirements, the GIS data provided for download is managed with a particular schema and set of attributes in place. Any requests for NCT9-1-1 to modify its current GIS data management practices to benefit a recipient’s GIS requirements will immediately be denied.
With that being said, the data accessed through this website are non-survey grade, and provided for use 'AS IS', 'AS AVAILABLE', and 'WITH ALL FAULTS'. The data presented are aggregated from multiple sources. Each agency responsible for providing data may have its own internal standards for accuracy and timeliness, thus NCT9-1-1 cannot guarantee the degree to which the various data sources agree with each other. While every reasonable effort has been made to ensure the content, accuracy, timeliness and/or completeness of GIS data provided is correct, NCT9-1-1 shall assume no liability for: 1. Any errors, omissions, or inaccuracies in the GIS data provided, regardless of how caused; or 2. Any decision made or action taken/not taken by the user in reliance upon any information or data furnished via this website.
In any situation where the GIS data provided by NCT9-1-1 differs from user’s data expectations, those recipients are asked to please reach out to that particular county’s respective GIS/Addressing team for clarification, correction, and/or discussion.

GIS data will be updated and available at most once per month, pending any usability complications with the website and/or GIS data uploads. If a user requires data that is more current than what is currently available on this website, that user must reach out to the individual county or city from which data is needed and request it from the respective GIS/Addressing team. |
